Aba became the clan descended from Pota and his True Avar mother the Daughter of Csaba the Hun. The Y-DNA Haplogroup N clan of Aba converted to Judaism under their king Bulan in the mid 700s and became the ancestors of many Ashkenazi lineages. They established Cuzdrioara when they retreated from Chelarevo as the Moravians began to expand. It was also from the House of Aba that the Bulanids of Old Halychyna descended.
