Pata or Pota son of Ashkenazi was a descendant of Romaniote Jews in ancient Ashkenaz and was the Jewish E-Y6938 MRCA nephew of the Varkonites Edemen and Ed being the son of their Varkunite sister and grandson of their Hunno-Bulgar Father Csaba and his Hvariz wife. He was born after the migration of the Hvariz from Hvarez into Causasian Albania but before 500CE.It was through Pata that Csaba became the ancestor of the Aba clan.

Csaba claimed Magyor as a maternal ancestor of Attila. Magyor means mixed people who were related to the Hunor nobility.
